Several weeks after we transplanted the peppers, I walked out to the garden and found one lying on the ground beside the hole that had been its home, roots exposed. If I didn’t know better, I’d say something had pulled it up by the stalk and laid it gently on the ground. The soil around the hole was undisturbed. The plant itself was healthy, with every leaf still there. Just a plant at home one day and evicted the next.
This is not a story written after everything is complete. It is a story being written as we go.
Blue Goat Farms was established in 2024 with a vision to cultivate the wild, steward the land, and create things that reflect the beauty and character of this place we call home.
But today marks the true beginning of the journey.

Blue Goat Farms is not simply about a finished product, a service, or a destination—it is about the process of becoming.
There will be challenges, unexpected lessons, and mistakes along the way. We will experiment, adapt, and discover what works through patience, perseverance, and a willingness to learn from the land itself.
From the soil beneath our feet to the forests, fields, animals, and handcrafted creations that come from this place, Blue Goat Farms is about stewardship, craftsmanship, and inviting others to share in the adventure.
We replanted the pepper plant. It’s doing well.
Thank you for joining us at the beginning.
Welcome to Blue Goat Farms. The journey starts here.
